Ruth Birge Named United Way Executive Director
Ruth Birge, formerly publisher of the Times News, has been named Executive Director of the United Way of Henderson County.
Birge most recently worked for Carolina First as Branch Manager of the Four Seasons office. She also served as Interim Executive Director of the United Way from June 2009 through December 2009. She begins her new post on March 22, 2010.
