Summer Music in Flat Rock will present a special concert Saturday, August 4th featuring Asheville singer/songwriter Chuck Brodsky.  

This free outdoor concert will be held in Flat Rock on Little Rainbow Row’s back deck from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  

Brodsky performs in the classic American folk tradition, listing influences from Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, John Hartford and Mark Twain.  He has toured throughout the US, Canada and Ireland and appeared on nationally syndicated radio programs “Mountain Stage,” “Acoustic Cafe,” and “River City Folk."

This is a casual, family oriented, bring-your-lawn-chair outdoor event, weather permitting. Food and beverages will be available from Flat Rock Village Bakery and Hubba Hubba Smokehouse, the Series co-sponsors. Off street parking will be designated with limited handicap accessibility. 

Concerts are held on the first Saturday of the month through October. Scheduled concerts for the remainder of the season are: 

  • Sept. 1st: Al Petteway and Amy White
  • Oct, 6th:Bobby & the Blue Ridge Tradition
