Appalachian Fire Band and Mountain Thunder Cloggers Perform at July 16 Street Dance
The six-piece Hendersonville-based band Appalachian Fire Band will play such favorites as “Foggy Mountain Breakdown”, “Salt Creek”. “I’ll Fly Away”, and “Will the Circle Be Unbroken”.

The July 16th Main Street Dance will features both the Appalachian Fire Band and the Mountain Thunder Cloggers.
The six-piece Hendersonville-based band Appalachian Fire Band is made up of Dwayne Durham, Cliff Searcy, Jim Fox, Mike Williams and Tim Francis which will play such favorites as “Foggy Mountain Breakdown”, “Salt Creek”. “I’ll Fly Away”, and “Will the Circle Be Unbroken”.
Mountain Thunder Cloggers are Western North Carolina's largest recreational precision clogging team. They have performed at many regional fairs and festivals including Bele Chere, the North Carolina Mountain State Fair, Farm City Day, and the North Carolina Apple Festival.
Bring a chair, admission is free. Enjoy mountain heritage music and dancing every Monday through August 13 from 7-9 pm at the Visitors Information Center located at 201 South Main Street. Audience seating area opens after 5:30 pm. At 6:30 pm, caller Walt Puckett will teach audience members some basic Appalachian square dance steps.
In case of inclement weather the dance will be postponed until 8:00pm; if the weather does not improve by 8:00pm the performance will be cancelled.
