Hendersonville businesses are offering incentives to people who go the extra mile to save fuel today, in honor of "April Fuels Day." Our favorite? Free beer from West First Pizza.

BUSINESSES offering INCENTIVES for residents who save fuel on April 1:
- Bikeways,The Bicycle Store, Sycamore Bikes. All shops will offer top 3 bike commuters on Apri l1st a free bicycle tuneup. To be eligible, bikers should apply to ECO with verification of their commute.
- Hendersonville Co‐op. Employees will walk, bike or carpool to work; customers who bike to Co‐op will get photo/feature in e‐newsletter.
- Jongo Java. Will offer walkers/bikers: buy 1 drink, get 1 free.
- Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital. Employees & patients who carpool or use alternative transportation on April 1 get a free Pardee travel mug.
- Mast General. Will offer all employees $4 per day if they carpool, walk or bicycle. Customers who carpool/bike/walk on April 1 can enter a drawing for a $40 gift card.
- Three Chopt Sandwich Shop. Carpoolers get free popcorn and a free bowl of homemade soup.
- West First Wood‐fired Pizza. Will offer a free bottle of Fat Tire Beer to adult customers who walk or bicycle to the restaurant on April 1st! Fat Tire Beer is the only beer made 100% by wind power by New Belgium Brewery.
