Caribbean Cowboys to Play Music on Main

The second Music On Main Street concert on Friday, June 17 will feature the Caribbean Cowboys, a popular Asheville based band has played extensively throughout the southeast entertaining audiences for a decade.

Band members Steve Weams (rhythm guitar) Matt Sluder (lead guitar and vocals), Mike Barnes (lead guitar and vocals), Mike Rothacker (bass guitar and vocals) and Jack Nitterauer (percussion and vocals) will play such favorites as "Carolina Girls," "Under the Boardwalk," "Save the Last Dance," "Margaritaville," "Red Red Wine," "Cheeseburger in Paradise," "60-Minute Man" and "Mustang Sally."

The Music On Main Street concert series is an event of Henderson County Travel & Tourism held every Friday evening through Aug. 19 at the Visitors Information Center located at  201 South Main Street.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a chair to relax and enjoy the music early, as the seating area opens after 5:30 p.m.. Hendersonville city ordinance prohibits animals in the event area. Alcoholic beverages and coolers are prohibited. Admission is free.

In case of inclement weather, the concert will be postponed until 8 p.m. If the weather does not improve by then, performance will be cancelled.
