If you’re the type of person who can’t pass up a good deal, then you’ll like the Mountain State Fair.
The fair, which runs from September 10-19, has several days planned that are designed to save people money and still give them plenty of entertainment. And it all starts with opening day as students in kindergarten through 12th grade can get into the fairgrounds free from 9am to 6pm.
Other deals during the fair include:
Two ride wristband days on September 13 and 16 will let fairgoers ride all the rides they can stomach for $18.
On Wednesday, September 15, people coming to the fair can exchange five cans of Laura Lynn brand food for one free admission. All of the food collected will go to Manna FoodBank.
Seniors will also be able to keep some cash in their wallet as they will be allowed in free on September 17. Friday Night Stampede will also be on September 17, and is designed for all those night owls. For $18, you can ride all the rides you want from 9pm to 1am.
“We feel like we provide a good entertainment value here for the folks in Western North Carolina, and we hope they come out and join us,” said Casey Allen with the Mountain State Fair.
