S.C. Thai Restaurant Expanding To Hendersonville

It looks like the owners of a Thai restaurant in Spartanburg, S.C., have their eyes on downtown Hendersonville. A sign in the window of the former La Riserva space on Main Street says Lime Leaf is opening a second location there.

According to the restaurant's Web site, Lime Leaf, owned and operated by Kanas Lam and David Cheng since 2005, serves up Thai cuisine as well as Japanese and Chinese dishes. Their online menu shows plenty of options for diners. There are appetizers like Thai spring rolls, Thai golden shrimp and chicken sa tay; seafood that includes garlic shrimp and sea scallops; spicy stir fried shrimp; and Lime Leaf sauteed lobster; and dinner items like stir fired meats with ginger or garlic; chicken cashew; and Lime Leaf duck.

In a call to Kanas Lam on Monday, Ms. Lam said she did not have time to talk but that she would be at the space later this week and provide Scoop with all the details. Check back later.
