Political Candidates Hitting The Road
11th Congressional District candidate Jeff Miller and Sen. Richard Burr are going on a road trip through Western North Carolina. Their October 2 road trip will include visits to Rutherford, Macon and Haywood counties, as well as a stop right here in Hendersonville.
The two Republicans will appear on October 2 at the Opportunity House at 1141 Asheville Highway. The joint appearance is scheduled for 1:15pm. Joining the two will be Rep. Carolyn Justus, Dean Poirier, and judges Barbara Jackson, Ann Marie Calabria and Sanford Steeleman. A large crowd is expected so you may want to arrive early.
Prior to the Opportunity House, Burr and Miller will visit GOP headquarters in Rutherfordton. When they leave Hendersonville, they will head for a visit in Franklin and then join the Haywood County GOP Harvest Dinner.
