Roger Bass will lead a sauerkraut-making workshop on January 15 in Laurel Park. According to Dr. Andrew Weil, fermented cabbage (a.k.a. sauerkraut) has numerous health benefits. But, you'll miss out on those with the commercially available stuff because the beneficial bacteria don't survive the pasteurization process. It's easy to make at home, here's your chance to learn.
