Henderson County's HonorAir program and American Legion Post 77 have announced enough funds have been raised to purchase coats, hats and gloves for 250 area veterans who live at the Veterans Restoration Quarters and Transitional Housing in Asheville. The coat drive is now closed.

HonorAir founder Jeff Miller and the HonorAir team thank all those who contributed and gave special thanks to Diamond Brand and World of Clothing for their help. The $140 coats were provided by Diamond Brand and Sierra Designs for $50 each.
