Cold? What Cold! Runners Brave Frigid Temps for Hands On! Benefit
Runners of all ages competed in the Reindeer Run for Hands On! A Child's Gallery.

Despite a biting cold that left people's hands numb and the hot chocolate flowing, a large crowd turned out Sunday for the second annual Reindeer Run 5K, a benefit for Hands On! A Child's Gallery.
The record book will say that 16-year-old Ben Fiedler won the race, but the guy who came in second, Michael Scholtz, should have taken home the award for being the toughest runner. While everyone else was bundled up in hats, winter coats, gloves, scarves and blankets (there were snowflakes falling after all), Scholtz ran in shorts more appropriate for a jog on a sun-drenched beach.
"Once you get going everything feels warm," Scholtz said while trying to catch his breath.
Check back later for more on the run.
