A Few Good Men And One Woman Needed
Flat Rock Playhouse has put out the call for actors for its fall production of A Few Good Men at the Historic Henderson County Courthouse. The Playhouse will hold auditions Monday, August 30, from 4 to 6:30 pm and Friday, September 3, from 4 to 6 pm. Both auditions will be inside the Robin R. Fahrquhar Education Center on Little River Road behind Flat Rock Playhouse.
A Few Good Men by Aaron Sorkin is a courtroom drama that centers on the defense of two U.S. Marines accused of murdering a colleague. The production will be from October 6-31 with a possible extension through November 7. Vincent Marini will direct the show and plans to produce it with a cast of no less than 13 actors (12 men and one woman). Men's roles range in age from 20s to mid-50s. The woman should read late 20s to early 30s. Members of Actors' Equity Association as well as non-union performers are encouraged to attend.
