Artists Sought for Downtown Artwork

Description

The Arts Council of Henderson County and the Hendersonville Main Street Advisory Committee are extending a call for artists who work with site specific public art for the creation of two pieces planned for downtown Hendersonville.

One of the projects will be a water piece designed to be set at the First Citizens Bank Plaza. The second will be a sculptural gateway on the corner of Main Street and Seventh Avenue. The deadline for submissions is Aug. 17.
